Welcome to my website; it is almost exactly like a blog.
I've written 54 posts. The average length is 929 words. The earliest dated is January 1, 2010, and the most recent is October 13, 2026. But those numbers don't matter so much, not because they aren't true (the dates for the early posts were best guesses by year), but because it doesn't tell you anything about what's inside the writing.
It is easy, as someone who cares about data, about knowing the truth, to think that numbers always matter, but just because you can count something doesn't mean you should.

A bit about me, my name is Daniel. I work in electrical infrastructure construction and data. In addition to what I’m posting here, I have been working on an electrical infrastructure industry report for the last few months, we will see if that makes the light of day.
Related to construction, I also have some case studies from mega projects over the years, and I have written about some general business writings, influenced by my attempt at working for myself and Cedric Chin.
Other than construction and business I’ve also started listening to the back log of the Voxology Podcast and writing a few notes about each episode. I am confident I won’t be able to maintain my current post of 1 episode per day for the entire backlog, it’s 600 episodes and counting. But as in many things, “it seemed like a good idea at the time.”
Why write listen to and respond to each episode? Mike Erre is the kind of Christian I hope to be. I grew up in a environment where Christian and republican were synonyms and I argued with only “truth” and no love for people who were wrong disagreed with me. So listening to the whole of the podcast might give me insight in how to think about things I have settled in my head now, I’ve deconstructed and this is part of an attempt to reconstruct.

Given how much I think about faith, it’s not something I write about much. Below are some of the ones that stand out. I suspect that I don’t write as much about faith because it is not something I want to be wrong about. I know how differently I think about faith compared to those in my community.
Finally is the fiction I’ve written. Below is what I think is the best, but you can find all of it in the all tags folder, as well as mixed in with the posts by date.
